Michael Timothy Offerman, 67 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away after a battle with cancer on May 1, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born on May 1, 1956 in Michigan to the late Forest and Beverly (Horton) Offerman. Michael was a proud veteran and served in the United States Army. He has resided in Atlanta for over 25 years.
He loved his family and often spent time with them at the racetrack, shooting pool and riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren. Michael had a love of food and laughter. He is and will be deeply missed.
Michael is survived by his children, Joseph (Beth) Offerman of Atlanta; Sarah Offerman of Farmington Hills; Nick Offerman of Atlanta; grandchildren, Kendall, Hannah, and Tyler; siblings, Jim Offerman, Richard (Margaret) Offerman, Gerald Offerman, Thomas Offerman, Donna Vonbehren, and Steve Offerman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Beverly Offerman and siblings, Sharon and Tim.
Funeral services for Mr. Offerman will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Green Funeral Home, Atlanta. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday from noon until time of service. Interment will follow services at Briley Township Cemetery where Michael will be laid to rest.
