Dolores Irene Kellow, 91, of Houghton Lake passed away on Monday May 15, 2023 at her home.
Dolores was born on February 21, 1932 in Detroit, MI to Alphonsis and Mary (McDonald) Coughlin. Dolores was married on September 21, 1957 in Ironwood, MI to Harold Dean Kellow. After their marriage and raising their three children, Dolores’ main focus was her family. She moved to the Houghton Lake area in 1983, spending the rest of her years with her loving husband, Harold, until his passing in 2019. Dolores was an avid reader, she loved boating and spending time outdoors, but most of all, she loved her children and her grandchildren. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Dolores will be missed by so many.
Surviving Dolores Irene Kellow are her Children, Michael (Michelle) Kellow of Wayne, David (Marie) Kellow of Pierson, and Mary (Raymond) Orr of Howell; Grandchildren, Sarah, Genna, Kaitlyn, Nick, and David Paul Kellow, Matthew, and Rebecca Orr, and Justine(Charles) Klecker; Great Grandchildren, Noah and Hannah Klecker; and Cousins, Patricia (Dana) Ralko, Thomas Hoffman, and Kathleen (Jim) Gurney.
Dolores was preceded in death by her loving Husband, Harold Dean Kellow; Parents, Alphonsis and Mary Coughlin; and her Siblings, Jack Coughlin and Mary Hoffman.
No formal services for Dolores are scheduled at this time.
