Bob ‘Buzz’ Kloph, 91, of Roscommon

Robert “Buzz” Frederick Klopf, age 91, of Roscommon, died on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Roscommon, Michigan.

Bob was born April 23, 1932, in Bay City, Michigan, the son of Frederick and Mary (French) Klopf.

Bob was a veteran. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a shooting instructor while in the military and was an expert marksman. Bob will be remembered for being an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed going deer hunting and especially spending time with his deer hunting buddies. Bob could fix anything and was a jack of all trades. He liked to help fix and repair things at home and at church. Bob and Bev enjoyed travelling and with their fifth wheel in tow had the opportunity to see much of the United States. They also would spend the winters in Naples, Florida and did that for over 25 years.

Bob will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his children: Mark Klopf of Houghton Lake and Janet (Fred) Pulka of Jackson; grandchildren: Michael Hubert, Nik Klopf, Jeanne (Daniel) Lomas, Alaina Mitchell; great-grandchildren: Claire Lomas and Saylor Mitchell; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly; sisters: Arlene Ross and Joan Eickholt.

Family and friends will gather from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653. The Funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, also at the Funeral Home.

Bob will be laid to rest at Pioneer Cemetery, in South Branch Township, Michigan.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Bob’s name to Messiah Lutheran Church, Roscommon, and Meals on Wheels of Crawford County.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
