Alexandra Josephine Chadwick, age 96, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center West Branch. She was born on January 25, 1927, in Detroit, MI to Stanley and Florence (Kosiba) Glanc. She lived in West Branch since 1977, formerly of Rochester, MI.
Alexandra enjoyed painting, traveling, true crime TV shows and was an animal lover. She was fiercely loyal and the caretaker of the family. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Alexandra is survived by her son Douglas (Diane) Chadwick of Eustis, FL; daughter Elizabeth (Jeffrey Hall) Chadwick of West Branch, MI; grandchildren Amanda (Shawn) Ford, Morgan Mottram, Thomas Mottram, Michael Mottram, Shane Chadwick and Shawn Miller; and great grandchildren, Aaliyah Ford, Grayson Ford, Azriel Anzo, and Nikolai Chadwick.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Thomas Chadwick; son Thomas Chadwick; sister Blanche Saglimbene; brother Stanley Glanc; and granddaughter Christina Mottram.
The funeral service will be at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. Chaplin Lonnie Severance will officiate. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in West Branch.
