Terry ‘Trapper’ Watson, 70, of Gladwin

Terry Lee “Trapper” Watson had 70 wonderful years of adventure before leaving this Earth on March 31, 2023. He was born on November 22, 1952, in Gladwin, Michigan to Jack and Ruth (Cronk) Watson. Trapper had a passion for well drilling and started well drilling at 15 years old with his grandpa, C.V. Watson, and worked for many well drilling companies in Gladwin, Michigan. Well drilling was all Trapper wanted to do. In his early years, Trapper loved to trap, and it developed into his teen years and that is how he earned the name Trapper and it stuck with him forever. Trapper always had a dog with him hunting or trapping. He was also an Eagles member for over 35 years. Trapper met the love of his life and lifetime companion Pasty Johnson. Together they shared 38 years full of laughter and memories before his passing.

Trapper is survived by his lifetime companion, Pasty, mother, Ruth Foutch, niece, Brooke (Travis) Smith, stepbrothers, Steve (Linda) Foutch, Dale (Mary) Foutch, Tim (Dawn) Foutch, Scott (Terri) Foutch, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and many step nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandparents, C.V. and Bonnie Watson and Ernest and Viola Cronk, his father, Jack Watson, stepmother, Maureen Watson, brother, Tony Watson, nephew, Canvas Watson, stepfather, Frank Foutch, and many aunts and uncles.

According to his wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery in Gladwin, Michigan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
