Katharina Klimmer, 81, of Grayling

Katharina Klimmer, 81, of Grayling, passed away on March 31, 2023.

She was born on September 20, 1941 in Yugoslavia to the late Franz and Katharina Zimmermann. She was the widow of Thomas Klimmer, who passed away in 2007. Survived by: Daughter, Cyndi (Bob) Dikin of Roscommon and granddaughter Olivia. Sisters: Theresia (Jacob) Nowak of Bloomfield Hills; Magdalena (Lonnie) Lane of St. Clair Shores; Angela (John) Knirk of Shelby Township; and AnnaMarie (John) Whisenhunt of St. Clair Shores.
She was a special aunt that was instrumental in raising and caring for 25 nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by all the quilts she made throughout the years for all her loved ones. Katie was an independent spirited lady who loved people and animals. She lived her strong faith and was known by telling all she loved, “May the Good Lord keep you in His Loving Care forever.”
