With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tom, our loving and devoted Husband, Father, Brother and friend to all whose life he touched. He lost his long battle with cancer on March 16th, 2023, at Bay Shores Senior and Rehab Center in Bay City, MI at the age of 65. Tom was born in Detroit. He retired from General Motors as an 8th level buyer. However, that never stopped him, He worked for the State, transporting people to and from Doctor’s appointments. Tom was a music lover, he played drums, guitar and sang. He played with several bands, down state and up north. He even played at Tootsies in Nashville once, while on vacation.
He is proceeded in death by his Farther Melvin (Jr.) Anderson, Mother Janice (Ridge) Anderson, Nephew Robbie Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Hagy) Anderson, his children, Shayla Gomez, Tommy Anderson, Rebecca (Mohannad) Aba Al rub, Jeannine (Hagy) Peck, and John (Jason) Hagy, 10 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren. Brother Kevin (Patricia) Anderson and Sister Gia Anderson, many nieces and nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 4 pm at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel, 135 North Silverleaf St., Gladwin, Michigan 48624. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12 until time of service. According to Tommy’s wishes cremation will take place after service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
