Sandra Abbott, age 58, of Tawas City, Michigan, passed away on March 24, 2023, at Ascension St. Mary’s in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born on May 21, 1964, in Tawas City, Michigan to Lyle and Joan Pike. Sandra was a lifelong resident of Tawas City, Michigan, and she graduated from Tawas Area High School in the class of 1982. Following high school, she worked for some time at Bodacious Designs flower shop and at Klenow’s Market. Eventually, she assumed the role as a home maker looking after the house and raising her two boys. In 1980, she married the love of her life, Daryl Abbott. The two spent the next 42 years together happily married. She belonged to the Zion Lutheran Church, and some of her hobbies consisted of arts, painting, crafting, babysitting for her loving grandchildren, and spending time with her family.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Daryl Abbott; children, Kristopher (Kelli) Abbott and Casey (Audra) Abbott; grandchildren, Addison, Kaylee, Olivia, Karalynn, Konner, and Brynn; brothers, Mark Pike and Todd Pike; sister, Dawn; and parents, Lyle and Joan Pike.
Per Sandra’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service held for Sandra on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church in Tawas City, Michigan at 12:00 PM.
