Lucille Margaret Mudge age 95 loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Horizon’s Senior Living. She was born on August 28, 1927, in Whittemore, Michigan to the late Earl & Amy (Beardsley) Newberry. She met the love of her life Hazen Mudge by the Ferris wheel at the Standish Fair. They married in Standish in 1947 and celebrated 35 wonderful years returning to the Ferris wheel where it all began. Lucille enjoyed reading, embroidering, fishing, and spending time with her family, her passion in life was helping others babysitting and raising children.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Gallagher, and son-in-law Randy Haas, grandchildren; Brenda Bardonni, Miranda (David) Mueller, Kendra (Joel) Kuhn, Jason (Tiffany) Haas, Tedd (Amanda) Haas, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Hazen in 1982, a daughter Linda Haas, son-in-law Danny Gallagher, granddaughter Kimberly Haas, grandson Julius Bardonni great grandson Levi Mueller and great great grandson Jackson Mueller.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 27, 2023, at 11 am from the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel with Pastor David Mueller presiding with burial in Woodmere Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Sunday, from 1pm to 7pm. On Monday, friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, from 10 am until time of service.
