Lucille McGregor, 83, of Lupton

Lucille Mae (Wickwire) McGregor passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 7, 2023, in Rose City, MI.  She was born on January 5, 1940, in Lupton, MI to Carl and Genevieve (Craft) Wickwire.

Lucille was a lifelong resident of Lupton, MI where she raised her family and worked at Bortz Nursing Home as a cook and activities director.  She was a skilled seamstress, enjoyed crocheting and loved camping.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars.

Lucille is survived by her children, Carl (Kenalee) McGregor, Robert (Kimi) McGregor-Shugart, Tina (Archie) Saville-Tacderas; sister, Maxine (Von) Myers; grandchildren, Misty, Michael, Joshua, Matthew, Devin, Jarrett, and Paige; great grandchildren, Jayden, Andrew, Noah, Kinsley, Madelin, Miles, Marisyan, Collin, and Harlyn; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Ivan Wickwire and Stepfather, Matthew Nesbit.

Per Lucille’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A small private celebration with her immediate family has taken place.  Condolences and memories can be shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
