Lillian Valentine, 68, of Atlanta

Mrs. Lillian Louise Valentine, 68 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at home with her loving husband at her side after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born to the late, Hershel and Yvonne (Reeves) Wooten in Pontiac, Michigan on November 17, 1954. Lillian graduated from Hope College in Grand Rapids with an associate degree and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Pontiac General Hospital for 10+ years. She married Rolland Valentine on March 17, 1991, and together the couple celebrated 31 years of marriage before her passing. They have resided in Atlanta for the last 25 years. Lillian worked at Otsego County High School as a paraprofessional for 15 years. She also volunteered her time with Compassus Hospice. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping. She is and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rolland Valentine of Atlanta; brothers, Rod (Gail) Wooten of Monroe; and Roger Wooten of Alpena. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Yvonne Wooten.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Lillian privately at this time.
