Lary Pruett, age 82, passed away at his home on Friday, March 17, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 17, 1940 in Flint, Michigan to the late David and Irene (Couture) Pruett. Lary worked at Hamady Stores for over thirty years before deciding to venture out and own his own stores. Lary met and married the love of his life Deborah Pruett and together were joined in marriage on September 25, 1993.
Lary is survived by his wife of 29 years, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother, Thomas (Joan) Pruett, and sister, Carolyn Jones. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Martin and his brother, Gary Pruett.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial has not been planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
