Ronald Wayne Kemp, 73, of Atlanta passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at home.
Ronald was born July 16, 1949, in Flint, Michigan to the late James and Fern (Walker) Kemp. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On July 6, 1974, he married Debra Lenker. Ronald worked at GM Pontiac Motors, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Community Church and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and farming.
Surviving are his wife Debra; two God children, Sharon (Don) Greenfield and family, Nathan (Mandy) Jickling and family; six siblings, Evelyn Kemp, Gayle Kemp, Laurie (Pat) Beare, Faron (Jacquie) Kemp, Calvin (Melody) Kemp, Rodney (Lisa) Kemp; many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, John Lancewicz.
Memorial visitation will take place Monday at Pleasant Valley Community Church from 11 a.m. until the VFW service at 1 p.m. with the memorial service following with Rev. Mark Ryan officiating. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.
