Patrick McCormack, 37, of St. Helen

Patrick McCormack, 37, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, February 9, 2023, as the result of a suspected pulmonary embolism while he was clearing his front steps of snow.

We will miss you big brother, Uncle Bum Bum, Baby boy, and Scooter. Our hearts are absolutely broken by your loss, and we hope you have found uncle Pat, your brother-in-law Paul, your grandparents, and your mom and that she is not too pissed that you’ve arrived too soon. We’re pretty sure you experienced heaven on earth this last deer season with two ten points and a successful hunt next to your nephew and we hope with all our hearts you are at absolute peace now.

There are no words to express the surprise and pain that comes with this unprecedented death, and we would like to say thank you to everyone who has shared stories, memories, support, and/or encouragement from Pat’s widespread range of friends.

Pat is survived by his fiancé Christine Testorelli, Father Jim McCormack, Sister Samantha Rhodes (Paul), and predeceased by his mother Lisa.

We will be celebrating Pat’s life on his next birthday, June 3rd, 2023, in St. Helen, MI where he resided; details to come. At this time, we are asking donations to be made to ovarian cancer research alliance in his honor in leu of flowers; https://ocrahope.org/get-involved/donate/.

The family has entrusted the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home – Standish Chapel.
