Nona Pauline Klida, age 71, of Oscoda, MI, formerly of South Branch and Montrose, MI passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. She was born on February 11, 1952 in Flint, MI. Nona graduated from Hill-McCloy High School in Montrose.
Over the years, she enjoyed photographing flowers, bird watching, fishing and growing roses in her garden. Nona cherished her role as a grandmother and loved reading stories to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, John (Stacey) Evans and Jeff (Jodi) Evans; brothers, Don (Terry) LaPointe and Dale LaPointe; grandchildren, Britney and Chris; great-granddaughter, Laylah; nieces and nephews, Tasha (Mike) and Melissa and great-nieces and nephews, Abby Gale, Skylar, Brycen, Hayden and Lily. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Beverly LaPointe; first husband, Bill Evans and second husband, Mike Klida.
