June Marie Chambers, age 82, Grayling, went home to be with her Lord, on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in Traverse City, Michigan.
June was born April 23, 1940, in Croswell, Michigan, the daughter of Philip and Nellie (Turner) Dafoe.
June will always be remembered for her smile, her outgoing personality, as well as her spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family, rummaging, clothes shopping, traveling, reading, eating out and working puzzle books.
June will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her daughters: Kimberly Bunyak of Lake, Michigan, Patricia (Ronald) Larson of Grayling, Michigan, Peggy (Tony) Colvin of West Branch, Michigan; grandchildren: Chuck (Kristie) Holdorph of Bancroft, Michigan, Jennifer (Neil) Osantowski of Boyne Falls, Michigan, Zachary Larson of Grayling, Michigan, Michael (Leah) Colvin of Prudenville, Michigan, Joshua (Alexis) Larson of Lake City, Michigan; great-grandchildren: Sulli, Bella, Elliot, Aella, Hunter, and Remington.
June is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert C. Chambers; and son-in-law, David Bunyak.
June’s family has chosen to remember her privately at this time.
