Daniel Tabacchi, 76, of Lewiston

Mr. Daniel Leonard Tabacchi, 76 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on February 13, 2023 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital. He was born to the late, Leonard and Ruby Tabacchi in Detroit, Michigan on May 2, 1946. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy after graduating from Fordson High School in Dearborn. He retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked as a boiler operator. Daniel has resided in Lewiston with his wife, Doreen since 2005. Daniel enjoyed watching sports on television, especially baseball, football, and hockey. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He is and will be deeply missed.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Doreen Tabacchi of Lewiston; daughter, Vikki Tabacchi of Lewiston; son, Colin (Mary) Tabacchi of Sparta; grandchildren, Nick, Nathaniel, and Tony; brother, Kenneth (Opal) Tabacchi of Rochester Hills; sister, Beverly Johnson of Dearborn; and brother-in-law, Billy (Betty) Slavin of Scotland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ruby Tabacchi; brothers, Donald, Robert, and Wayne; and sister, Barbara Winn.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation service held in celebration of his life on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM with military honors.
