Lynnda Robinson, 69, of Hillman

On Sunday January 15, 2023, Lynnda Marie Robinson entered Heaven the way she lived her life, with courage, dignity and grace. “All people die but not all people live” and Lynnda sure lived!

Lynnda was born on July 2, 1953. From that day forward, she brought nothing but joy, happiness and sunshine into our lives and the lives of many others. Lynnda was a determined woman, and even after a life of adversity and tragedy, she used that to inspire herself and others and always managed to brighten the days of everyone she encountered.

When Lynnda was struck with cancer earlier this year, she had unrelenting determination that she was going to overcome it. She fought it with grace, dignity, integrity and courage. Although we may no longer physically see Lynnda, we believe she has left an indelible mark on all of us lucky enough to have known her. Lynnda would want all of us to remember her with a smile rather than with tears. She would want us to find comfort in knowing she is free from pain and home with her family gone before. Lynnda will always continue to bring sunshine into our lives. We will miss her witty sense of humor, her contagious smile, sparkling blue eyes and her love of life. She will be deeply loved forever and will never be forgotten. Lynnda Robinson was that “one in a million” special kind of person.

Lynnda is survived by her husband, Dale Robinson, her dearly loved son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shelly West, her beloved granddaughter Avery West, her sister Karen Balderas, brothers-in-law Dean Robinson, William Robinson, Thomas Robinson, sister-in-law Nancy Robinson, stepdaughter Randi Newcomb and stepson Korey Robinson. Her confidants and best friends, Marie, Helen, Lisa and Michelle. She is also survived by many other cherished friends and family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband Randall Burgdolf, who tragically passed away in a car accident on 12/11/1991, her mother Margaraet G. Miller, brothers Rick Foultz and Greg Ashworth.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Calvary Episcopal Church, 330 State Street, Hillman, Michigan, on January 27, 2023, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Mary Fitzgerald officiating. A luncheon will follow. Lynnda has always been known for her love of wearing jeans, so jeans are certainly acceptable to honor Lynnda! Arrangements by Bannan Funeral Home.

Memorials: Hospice of Michigan, Friends Together or directly to Dale Robinson.
