Christopher Richard Godfrey, age 61, of Higgins Lake, died on Thursday, January 5, 2023, in Midland, Michigan.
Chris was born November 28, 1961, in St. Charles, Michigan, the son of Richard and Mary (Wicke) Godfrey.
Chris was interested in many things, chief among them was snowmobiling and fishing. He loved working on his snowmobiles and dirt bikes to get them to run just the way he wanted them.
Chris was a veteran. He served the country during Desert Storm. He was honorably discharged.
Chris will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Nicholas and Christina Godfrey(Lang) of Lawton, Oklahoma and Christopher and Cassy Godfrey(Kushion) of West Branch, Michigan; his daughter, Chris and Corey Gabel(Godfrey) of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; his grandchildren: Karlie, Shaela, Ayla, Nicholas, Kyon, Christopher, Hailey, Navaya, Owen, Vincent, and Mavryke; as well as many cousins, and friends.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Rosalie Godfrey.
Chris’ family has chosen to remember him privately at this time. They will announce a Graveside service in the spring.
