Priscilla J. Overbaugh, age 77, of Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday December 20, 2022 at Munson Healthcare-Grayling Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Priscilla was born on July 1, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Sigmund and Helen (Frankowski) Sliwa Sr.. She graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 1963. Priscilla was married to Joel Overbaugh in 1964. She helped her mother run Venture Inn Motel for many years and she met many wonderful friends working at Bumpers, The Nottingham and Skips Lounge. However, spending time with her grandchildren was what she always looked forward to.
Priscilla is survived by her sons; Joel (Laurie) Overbaugh of Brooklyn and Troy (Lori) Overbaugh of Brooklyn, grandchildren; Ashley, Samantha, Nick, Trever and Baylie, great grandchildren; Hudson, Annabelle, Maci, Max, Brady, Aiden, Nolan, Ben and Hayden, brothers; Skip (Carol) Sliwa of Houghton Lake and Micky (Teri) Sliwa of Houghton Lake, sister; Rena Swierz of Okemos and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Joel Overbaugh in 1973, grandson; Jesse and nephew; Korey Sliwa.
Per Priscilla’s wishes cremation will take place and private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
