Marian Ester Krevinghaus, loving mother and grandmother 88 years old, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on June 1, 1934, the daughter of Edward and Florence Reinhardt. Marian graduated from Pinconning High School in 1952. On August 30 of that year, she married John Krevinghaus. They enjoyed 41 years of marriage in the community of Rhodes.
Marian was employed by MSU cooperative extension for several years. She was a lifelong member of Hope Lutheran Church where she enjoyed quilting with many friends. She also enjoyed square dancing with Jack, jigsaw puzzles and bird watching. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Marian is remembered by her son Bob and wife Tafra, daughter-in-law Tammy, grandchildren Christina Galvin, Allen Krevinghaus (Jennifer), Sunshine Krevinghaus (Mike), Katrina Parker (Jared), Levi Krevinghaus (Casey) and 7 great grandchildren; plus, two sisters; Linda Herner (Tom) and Frieda Dubay. Marian will also be remembered by an extended family of many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends. Marian was predeceased by husband Jack, her parents, sons Ron and Jim, daughter and son-in-law Susan (Dale) Galvin, and special friend Matt Dombrowski.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2022, at 11:00 am at Hope Lutheran Church Rhodes, MI with Pastor Roger Bauer officiating. Cremation to follow, with burial with her husband John in Hope Lutheran Cemetery. On Thursday December 8, 2022, friends may visit at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home from 2 till 7 pm. On Friday, friends may visit at the church from 10 am until time of service.
In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorials to Hope Lutheran Church in Rhodes, MI or Toni and Trish house in Auburn, MI.
