Ken Soper, 53, of South Branch

Kenneth LeRoy Soper, 53, of South Branch, MI, passed away on December 09, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Ken was born on September 11, 1969 in Midland, MI, son of Linda, the late Alvin Davy, and the late Donald Soper. He is survived by his mother, Linda Davy of  South Branch, daughters Kristeen (Derrick) Young of Hale, Angela (Bret) Soper of Glennie, grandchildren Paisley, Kye, Jackson, Zane, and Gavin, brother Don (Deborah) Soper of Eufaula, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was proceed in death by his beloved dog, Ace, sister Charmain Newcomb, step father Alvin Davy, and father Donald Soper.

Ken was known by many as a very kind and loving man. He was always so willing to help anyone in need no matter how small or large the task. In his free time Ken could be found on the lake in his flat bottom boat, in the woods hunting or riding his side by side, tinkering on one of his many projects in the garage, or watching car shows on TV. Most of all Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Ken was also an active member of Goodar Bible Church in South Branch. Ken’s memory will be cherished forever and his sense of humor will never be forgotten.

A memorial for Ken will be held January 14, 2023 with a place and time still to be determined.
