Jaylene Ann Marks, age 84, of Johnstown, Colorado, formerly of Prudenville Michigan, died on Monday, November 28, 2022, in Loveland, Colorado, in the presence and comfort of her family.
Jaylene was born December 3, 1937, in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Eremia) Stockenauer. She spent most of her life living and working in Michigan, moving to Colorado in 2017 to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
Jaylene loved to read and listen to gospel music, enjoying her faith in Jesus. She enjoyed crocheting and writing letters to family and friends. She loved her cats and had many throughout her life. Most of all she loved her family and prayed for them daily.
Jaylene will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her daughters: Peggy (Earl) Deloge of Colorado; Kathy Tolonen (Mike) of Waterford. Grandchildren: Gage Tolonen (Rita) of Waterford; John (Richelle) Ozoga IV of Canton; Devon Ozoga of Novi; Trevor Ozoga of Novi; Trevor (Jessi) Deloge of Alaska; Great Grandchildren: Joslynn and Chance; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jaylene is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Stockenauer; brother, Richard Stockenauer; sister-in-law, Edna Stockenauer; brother, Donald Stockenauer; niece, Beth Ann Stockenauer; and Great-Granddaughter Jorah Deloge.
Jaylene’s family has chosen to remember her privately at this time.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Jaylene’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or your local animal shelter.
