Kim Manor, 40, of AuGres

Kimberly Lynn Manor, a life long resident of AuGres, passed away with her family by her side at Hurley Medical Center in Flint on Monday, November 21, 2022, age 40 years.

Kim was born in Tawas City on July 9, 1982 to Edward J. and Barbara A. (Prowant) Manor, Sr.  She graduated from AuGres – Sims High School and continued her education with vocational CNA training.

For 20 years, Kim had the opportunity to share her gift of love and support by assisting residents at various Iosco and Arenac Counties Nursing Facilities as a CNA. Her bright smile and ability to listen intently to the residents made her so special at her job.  Kimberly had a true love of life and brought happiness to so many.

She truly loved animals and enjoyed training pets.  She also adored the beauty of the outdoors, especially spending time boating and fishing.  Ever since she was a little girl, Kim and her dad would work on automobiles and skilled projects, and because of those experiences, Kim carried her passion for mechanics throughout her life.

Her family and friends recall her funny love of ketchup, and how practically everything she would eat had to be dipped in ketchup!

Kimberly will be forever loved and cherished by each and every person who had the opportunity to know and love her.

She is survived by her loving parents, Edward and Barbara Manor of AuGres; her fiancé of 7 years, Michael Hartman of AuGres; 1 brother, Edward (April) Manor Jr.; adored nieces and nephews, Sawyer and Maddox Manor; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard B. and Mildred A. Manor; and Robert and Catherine Prowant, and Carol Hartman; uncles, Rick, Mark, and Scott; and cousins, Joshua and Stephanie.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Kimberly’s life will be held at a date in spring of 2023 to be announced.  Those wishing to express their thoughts of love and support for Kimberly’s family may do so at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
