Barry Stutesman, 68, of Prescott

Barry Scott Stutesman, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland, MI. He was born on November 18, 1953 in Flint, MI to Virgil and Shirley (Popps) Stutesman.

Barry lived in Prescott, MI for over 36 years formerly of Fairview, MI. He married Rhonda Price on April 11, 1987.

Barry graduated from Fairview High School in 1971. He began his career in radio in Tawas, MI. During that time, he was also working for G’s Pizzeria delivering pizzas. He eventually started his television career working on The Michigan Magazine TV Show. He owned and produced Michigan Magazine TV for over 30 years.

He was a kind and caring person. His greatest joy was taking care of his grandchildren.

Barry is survived by his loving wife Rhonda Stutesman of Prescott; sons Jason (Teri) Stutesman of WV and Jordan Stutesman of Prescott; brother Dean Stutesman of KY; grandchildren Joseph Smith, Alexander Page, Reagan Stutesman and Jordan Stutesman; niece Corie Humphrey; parents in law, Kenneth Nelson and Joanne Price of Logan, WV; sisters in law Libby, Bobbie and Angel; and brothers in law Luther, Danny and Gary.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jessica, brothers Jim and Buzz, nephew Jason, brother in law Michael and sisters in law Leslie, Theresa and Pam.

Visitation was held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Monday, November 14, 2022. Burial followed at Edwards Township Cemetery in West Branch. Pastor Russell Schmidt officiated.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Foster Care Rayola.
