Ruth Ann Miller Callard, age 81, of Gladwin went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 28, 2022. She was born on May 28, 1941, to Reverend Donald Miller and Virginia {Green) Miller. Ruth was united in marriage to her loving husband, Ronald Leslie Callard, on June 17, 1960. Ron and Ruth raised together 4 daughters. She has been a long-time member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Ruth enjoyed singing in the church
choir for many years, beginning very young in age and singing with her brother and sisters. Ruth enjoyed crocheting, quilting, crafting and reading. She loved get togethers with her family and friends. Ruth was a blessing to her husband and girls. Her heart was filled with love and kindness for others. As the book of Proverbs tells us in Chapter 31, she was a virtuous woman. Her husband safely trusted in her and her girls do rise up and call her blessed!
Ruth his survived by her loving husband, Ronald Leslie Callard of Gladwin, daughters, Ronda Pedigo of Harrison, Janet and {Paul) Cuddie of Gladwin, Robin and {Jeff) Revell of Katy Texas, and Son-in-law Randall Thompson of Oxford. Eight grandchildren, Michelle and {Eric) Walker, Jason and {Sara) Cuddie, Amber and {Wyatt) Howey, Ashley Cuddie, Jennifer Thompson, Helen Thompson, Andrew Thompson and Katy Forrest. Five great grandchildren, Weston, Eli and Sawyer Howey. Noel and Noah Smith. Brother; Reverend David and (Linda) Miller, Sisters; Carrie Ellen Ludwig and Rebecca Chamberlain as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter, Loretta {Lori) Sue Thompson. Her parents, Reverend Donald and Virginia Miller, brother Paul Miller. Father-in-law, Leslie Callard and Mother-in-law Clara Callard. Brother-in-law Richard Ludwig and Sister-in-law Marilyn Quick.
Funeral services for Ruth will take place at the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Gladwin on Saturday October 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Dorais officiating. Visitation will take place at the Ramsey Funeral Home in Gladwin on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and again at the Emmanuel Baptist church the day of Ruths celebration of Life from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at the Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison Michigan
