Lynn Vlasic, 69, of Roscommon

Lynn Marie (Hansen) Vlasic, age 69, of Roscommon, died on Saturday, September 24, 2022, in Traverse City, in the presence and comfort of her family.

Lynn was born April 12, 1953, in Royal Oak, Michigan, the daughter of Wilfred “Mike” and Helen (Granger) Hansen.

In Lynn’s youth, she attended Shrine of the Little Flower grade school and high school. Lynn married Richard on December 30, 1987, in Roscommon, Michigan. Lynn will be remembered for her infectious laugh and great sense of humor. Many people don’t know, Lynn planted an innumerable amount of trees for the Department of Natural Resources helping restore Michigan’s forests and the land she loved so much. Lynn loved playing pool. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, canoeing and camping. She was a collector of antique glass. Lynn lived her dream life living on her land with her devoted husband, Rich, and their pets.

Lynn will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Rich, of 47 years; sisters: Michelle “Mickey” Hansen, Marie (Ian) Faulkner, Donna Hansen; brothers: Steve Hansen, and Joe Hansen; nieces and nephew: Celeste, Alyssa, Kelsey and Michael Faulkner; as well as several cousins and friends.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents and brother, William “Bill” Hansen.

Lynn will be laid to rest at Rock Cemetery, South Branch Township, Michigan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
