Christopher Ridenour, 56, passed away on September 21, 2022, in National City, Michigan. Chris was born on June 30, 1966, to Donna and Robert Ridenour in Tawas City, Michigan. He was a lifelong resident of National City, Michigan and was a proud graduate of Tawas High School in 1984.

Chris was described as “the jack of all trades” because he performed several jobs over the course of his lifetime that included a machinist for auto parts and airplane parts, a lumberjack, working on cable lines, and eventually becoming an entrepreneur. His hobbies included anything to do with being outside in the woods, hunting, mudbogging, working on cars, exploring nature, and most importantly spending quality time with his family and his pups Maya, Chance, and Sheena. He was a loved man that will be missed dearly.

In addition to his parents Robert and Donna Ridenour, Chris is survived by his lifelong partner Brenda Hickerson; his six stepchildren in which he served a fatherly role, Tyler, Andrew, Justin, Kate, Desiree, and Gabrielle; his brother, Chad Ridenour; lots of grandchildren; his Uncle Bill (Jill) Katterman, Aunt Debra (John) Fritsch, Aunt Betty, Aunt Dee, and Aunt Rose. Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents John (Mary) Katterman and Merle (Lottie) Ridenour.

Per the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place and is planning to have a memorial service at a later date. You may offer online condolences at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
