Dennis Cline, 64, of Hale

Dennis K. Cline, age 64 of Hale, MI., passed away at McLaren Bay Region Hospital on August 9, 2022 surrounded by his wife and family. Born on November 25, 1957 to the late John Jr. and Virginia (Keck) Cline, Dennis was a former resident of Monroe, MI, and Van Buren Township, MI. Dennis was married to the love of his life, Kathleen (Schultz) Cline for 31 wonderful years. He owned and operated DC Bowling Supply in southern Michigan, but eventually settled in the Sage Lake area in Hale continuing business operations there.

Dennis was generous to a fault, always taking care of his family and friends. He loved taking the family for boat rides on Sage lake and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Andrew Cline, Ashley (Johnny Ray) Veal, Matthew Pancone, Krista (Alex) Smith, and Danielle (Aaron) Hollis; brother, John Cline; grandchildren, Hanna, Virginia, Nathan, Asher, Oliver and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, many family members and close friends.

Dennis had a soft spot for animals and always had treats in his pockets to give to any K9 friend he came across. To honor his memory, donations can be made to Rea Family Animal Shelter via PayPal at ochs4paws@gmail.com or by mail: Ogemaw County Humane Society, 1367 S M33, West Branch, MI 48661.
