Hilda Marie Webb (Elmore), age 74 of Prescott, Michigan passed away on July 17, 2022. She was born on April 24, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Clifford and Carrie (Vickers) Elmore. Hilda was a longtime resident of Prescott, MI, where she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, growing flowers, and playing cards. She was a member of the VFW auxiliary in Standish and a member of Chapel of the Lakes in Skidway Lake, MI.
Hilda married Kenneth Shimmel in 1966. He passed away in 2011. She remarried Wilgus Webb in 2012. Hilda is survived by her husband, Wilgus; son, Ken Shimmel Jr. (Rhoda); daughters, Kimberly (Greg) Gay, Juanita (Steve) Summerfield; brother, Ralph Elmore, Glen (Chris) Elmore, Larry Elmore, Eddie (Donna) Elmore; sister, Thonease (Sarly) Elmore, Marilyn (Paul) Lindeman; grandchildren, Chloe Butler, Carrie Munsell, Mathew Munsell, Randy Williams, James Sisson ,Sheila Sisson, Joyce Balzer, Jessica Osborne; great-grandchildren, Mathew , Jaydon, Talluiah, and many nieces and nephews. Hilda is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Ken.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday July 21, 2022 at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott, MI. Visitation will begin at 11:00am, funeral at 12:00pm and internment at Mills Township cemetery at 1:00pm.
