Earl John Grezeszak, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, MI. He was born on October 26, 1940 in West Branch, MI to Lawrence and Wilma (Illig) Grezeszak.
On August 5, 1972 he married Mary DeBuck in West Branch.
Earl “Curly” was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was raised on the family farm, EMT Farms, in Churchill Township. He then raised his own children on the farm and passed the farm down to them. He enjoyed driving around on his Kubota and taking the grandchildren for rides on the tractor and letting them drive. Earl also enjoyed hunting and farming.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Grezeszak of West Branch; sons, Virgil (Lisa) Grezeszak and Travis (Colette) Grezeszak both of West Branch; grandchildren, Kolby, Brandon, Weston, Kiley, Wyatt, and Emmett; siblings, Lorraine Legarski of Saline, MI, Leonard (Doris) Grezeszak of Rose City, Lawrence (Diane) Grezeszak of FL, and Judy (Dave) Walters of Sanford, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Wesley, and siblings, Virgil Grezeszak, Cecelia Chapman, and Barney Grezeszak.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Branch. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate.
