Daniel Jay Wellman of Twining, MI passed away June 6, 2022. He was born in Clare, MI on September 13, 1962, to Russell and Barbara (Upthegrove) Wellman. Daniel graduated from Bay City Central. He married Katherine Baum on February 14, 2004. He was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, long rides and was a great storyteller.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife Katherine; stepchildren, Andrew Ferns and Ayla (Chris) Ferns; sister Betty; brothers, Tom, Ray, Mike, Ron; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, David, Joseph and Mark; nephew Matthew.
