Cheryl Legg, 77, of Roscommon

Cheryl Lynn Legg, age 77, of Roscommon, died on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in Roscommon, in the presence and comfort of her family. 

Cheryl was born November 3, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Cletus and Betty (Tinney) Chase. 

Cheryl worked as a receptionist for COOR for over 30 years, retiring in January of 2007. She was a member of TOPS and COOR-Vets. Cheryl enjoyed bowling and many other sports. She loved to go golfing and used to shoot pool in leagues. Cheryl will be remembered for her gardening and her love to decorate her yard for the holidays. 

Cheryl will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her children: Tim (Janelle) Legg and Christy (Tom) Johnson; brothers: Ray Chase and Bob (Linda) Chase; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents. 

Family and friends will gather from 11:00-1:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022, with the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653. 

The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Cheryl’s name to Roscommon Lions Club. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
