Marian Sloyer, 94, of Lake

Marian M. Sloyer, age 94, passed away on April 28, 2022, at her home. She was born on December 17, 1927, to the late Henry and Julia (Junk) Adler in Custer, Ohio.

Marian was a graduate of Milton High School class of 1946. She worked as an accountant at H and R Block for 15 years. Marian met and married the love of her life; Harry Sloyer on June 16, 1956. Together they shared 48 years full of laughter and memories before his passing on June 18, 2004.


Marian is survived by her son; Jeff; grandsons; Jeb (Camille) and Zach (Jennifer), great grandchildren; Abby, David, and Logan. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Wilma Adler, many nieces and nephews. Marian is predeceased by her sister in laws; Alma Adler, Sally Adler, and Lela’s brothers; Jim, Henry Jr., brother-in-law, Gordon.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11 am. Family will greet friends from 10 am until the time of service on Friday. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel from 3 pm until 7 pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
