Hagar McClellan, 69, of Merritt

Bruce Lloyd “Hagar” McClellan, 69, of  Merritt passed away on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at home with his loving family by his side.

Bruce was born on August 24, 1952 in Flint, Michigan to Lloyd and Dolores (Barrett) McClellan. He grew up in the Flint area where he  graduated from Davison High School. Bruce worked as a Millwright for General Motors at the downtown Flint Plant and later the Truck Plant.

On May 10, 2003 in Genesee County, Bruce was married to Linda Susan Hallwood. He moved twenty two years ago from Flint to the Prudenville area and later to the Merritt area. Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and motorcycle trips on his Harley.

Surviving Mr.McClellan are his loving wife, Linda Susan McClellan of Merritt; five children; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; several nieces and nephews.  Bruce was preceded in death by his parents. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Bruce L. “Hagar” McClellan will be conducted later this summer at the family home.
