Mrs. Gloria Ureta Norwood, 83 of Lewiston, Michigan was born on December 10, 1938 and went home to our Lord on April 30, 2022. Ureta married Stewart W. Norwood on January 15, 1960 and together the couple celebrated 62 years of marriage before her passing.
She is survived by her loving husband, Stewart W. Norwood; children, Kimberly (Chuck) Cripps; and Tina (Tom) Timmich; grandchildren, Charlie Cripps III, Stewart (Suncerae Adams) Cripps, Kristina (James) Schmidt, and Carl (Kara) Timmich; great-grandchildren, Grady and Lucy Schmidt, and Colton and Dakota Timmich; brother, Leroy (Yvonne) Whitlock; sister-in-law, Doris Whitlock; and many nieces, nephews, and friends that loved her and will miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lula Whitlock; brothers, Leon and David Whitlock; in-laws, Stewart and Edith Norwood; and sister-in-law, Karen Norwood-Hamilton.
A private graveside service for family will take place on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Albert Township Cemetery, Lewiston; Pastor Dave Fisher officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Otsego Memorial Hospital Foundation, 325 N. Center Ave, Gaylord, Michigan 49735 in Ureta’s memory.
