Deb St. Germain, 69, of Grayling

*UPDATED SERVICE INFORMATION*

Deborah (Deb) Sue St. Germain, 69, of Grayling, Michigan passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, January 27, 2022, after her courageous battle with cancer (melanoma).

Deb was born in Grayling, Michigan on February 23, 1952, the daughter of the late Donna Niederer (Perry) and Richard (Giz) Niederer.  She graduated from Grayling High School in 1970 and worked at the Grayling Restaurant as a young adult.

Deb was a stay-at-home mother of two daughters, where she was an avid supporter of their sports, dance, and educational endeavors. While at home, she also ran a successful daycare business. As her girls got older, she embarked upon a new career in advertising sales at the Crawford County Avalanche, before retiring in 2015 after 26 years. Deb loved gardening, the Detroit Lions & Tigers, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as the best of friends and a loving sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother; affectionately known as Gaga to her grandkids.

Deb is survived by her children: Jessica (Dustin) Spero of Paw Paw and Jillian St. Germain of Portland, OR.  Grandchildren: Dylan and Emma Spero.  Siblings: Dianne (Jim) Tobin of Fowlerville, Denise Mueller of West Branch, Dan Niederer of Missouri, Dawn (John) Junttila of Grayling, Richard Niederer of Grayling and many nieces and nephews.

A casual Gathering of Family and Friends to Remember Deb will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Grayling Country Club.
