Roy Laverne Proctor, 76, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at McLaren Bay Hospital in Bay City, Michigan.
Roy was born August 8, 1945 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Roy L. and Thelma L. (Solomon) Proctor.
He loved to build models out of wood and cardboard. Roy enjoyed being outdoors, mowing lawn or fishing. He was a tinkerer, he always liked to be working on something. Roy also enjoyed playing ball with his grandchildren.
Roy is survived by his wife, Barbara and their 7 children; Terry Lee Proctor, Ricky Allen (Kari) Proctor, Regina Marie (Steve) Johnson, Lee Alan (Michelle) Sharp, Bonnie Lynn (Charles) Fox, Christina Louise Proctor and Troy Edward (Renee) Sharp. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Roy was pre-deceased by his mom, Thelma Louise Proctor and an uncle, Ervin Solomon.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be planned at a later date.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL, Standish, Michigan.
