Robert Leon Drinkwine, 82, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at MediLodge of Sterling.
He was born April 5, 1940 in Standish, Michigan to the late Albert and Bernadette (Rashotte) Drinkwine.
Bob loved to hunt and fish. He loved to go camping with his family. Family meant a lot to Bob. He was very proud of what his children have done and accomplished in their lives. Bob absolutely loved all his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife Carol, of 48 years. and their Seven children; Claudette (Greg) Rashotte, Richard (Mary Alice) Drinkwine, Lee (Mary) Drinkwine, Michael Droptiny, Mark (Susan) Droptiny, Carla MacKintosh and Mary (Darrell) Behm. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Albert and Bernadette Drinkwine, Bob was predeceased by four sisters; Irma Sauve, Ella Kraus, Mary Charchan and Hazel Haranda.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in Pine River Cemetery, Standish, Michigan. The family will greet family and friends Sunday, May 1, 2022, 3:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL, Standish, Michigan, and from 9:00 am Monday till time of service at 10:00am. A Prayer Service will be held Sunday night at 7:00 pm at the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish Chapel.
