Richard Dale Roberts passed away April 8, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.
Richard was born February 16, 1938, to Milford and Martha Roberts. He served in the Navy for 4 years.
On December 31, 1982, he married his wife Mildon (Millie)) Putman of Skidway Lake, MI. He was a mechanic, truck driver, as well as an owner/operator of restaurants in Skidway Lake and Hubbard Lake. He loved fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Millie and their 5 children, Debbie (Chuck) Bartley of Applegate, Virgil (Liz) Roberts of Croswell, Jayne Seitz of Lexington, Kim June of Alma, Michele June of Skidway Lake, (Special thanks for caring for him for the last year); 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several cousins; special friends Art and Dianne Tracey of Skiway Lake; and Bill Miller of Skidway Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill and John, and sister; Rosemary; and his special dog Willie.
