Marilyn Oskey, 80, of Gladwin

Marilyn Carol Oskey, 80, of Gladwin, MI passed away April 23, 2022. She was born April 22, 1942 in New Boston, MI the daughter of Leland and Eliza (Poet) Chamberlin.

After graduating from Belleville High School in 1960 she worked as a nurse assistant for several years at Garden City Hospital. She loved spending time with her family, sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting and especially gardening. She was an active volunteer with Friends of Firefighters for Clement Township Fire Department where she also worked several fundraisers.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 38 years Michael Joseph Oskey; children: Keith (JoAnn) Wall, Terry Jokimaki, Russell (Patricia) McDermott II, Teri (Joe) McCans; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father: Leland Chamberlin; mother: Eliza Jane Chamberlin; sisters: Betty Chamberlin and Arlene Henson; brother: Leland Chamberlin Jr.; and son: Kevin Wall.

Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin, MI on Thursday, April 28, 2022 beginning at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home Gladwin, MI on April 27, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
