Marge Griffin, 91, of Gladwin

Margaret Jean Griffin, 91, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away peacefully on April 19, 2022, at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City Mi.

Marge was born on August 3, 1930, to Howard and Jesse Ford. Her parents and her sister Kathie Probst predeceased her. Her loving husband Bill of 71 years passed on June 23, 2021.

Bill and Marge had 4 children, Tom (and Cathy) Griffin of Lansing, Mi, Cris (and Gary) Grabowski of Clio, Mi, Carole (and Larry) Mueller of Traverse City, Mi and Mike (and Courtney) Griffin of Fennville, Mi.

Also surviving are six grandchildren Tonia (Kevin) Heath, Tracey Griffin, Emilee (and Logan) Laubach, Nick Mueller, Braden Griffin, and Nathan Griffin and three great grandchildren, Jacob Heath, Emma Heath, and Meredith Laubach.

Marge was loved by many and loved to share her beautiful smile. Marge enjoyed sewing, craft shows, flowers and the Detroit Tigers. She was a beloved employee at Rene’s Income Tax Service where she worked for many years. Bill and Marge resided in Gladwin for many years. They both will be dearly missed by all whose lives they touched.

The family would like to thank Munson Hospice House in Traverse City for the excellent care and love they gave our mother.

A celebration of life will be held for Bill and Marge on Saturday April 30th at Lee Ramsay Funeral Home in Gladwin.


A gathering will be held for friends and family from 12:00-1:30pm with a service at 1:30pm. A luncheon will follow at the Eagles in Gladwin.


In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Munson Hospice House in Traverse City Mi.
