Madge Longstreth, 90, of Beaverton

Madeline “Madge” Longstreth, 90, of Beaverton, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. She was born on May 9, 1931, the daughter of Edward and Francis Jacobs in Bay City. She was united in marriage to Wayne Longstreth on June 18, 1955, in Gladwin. He preceded her in death in 1995. Together they raised their family in Beaverton. Madge volunteered regularly at the Sacred Heart Mission and loved to do puzzles. Her family, friends, and her dog, Peanut, and cat, Spooky, were her everyting. She was a devoted member to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin. 

Left to cherish her memory are children: Denise (Jeffrey) Brandt, Douglas (Lin) Longstreth, and Dirk Longstreth; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; twin sister: Marjorie; brother: Robert Jacobs; along with several nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Helen and Betty; and her brother: Rip. 

Funeral Mass will be conducted on Monday, March 14, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 2-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
