Dale F “Animal” Bennett, age 73 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Friday, March 11, 2022.
Dale was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 5, 1949 to Claude and Maxine (Wellbaum) Bennett. He was an army veteran of the Vietnam Era. Animal retired to Mio after spending most of his life in the Oakland County area.
Animal was a member of the Loyal Riders MC and the Operating Engineers Union in Detroit. He loved his kids, family, and friends; and would do anything he could for them. Animal also loved fishing, the outdoors, riding, and working on cars and motorcycles.
Dale is survived by his children: Kirk Bennett, Nicole Bennett, and Leah Bennett; his brother John Bennett; 9 grandchildren, and his Loyal Riders Club Brothers. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine, his father Claude, his brother Richard, his sister Claudette, and his dog Bugger.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at a later date with interment of ashes at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
