James Richard Ruse, age 79 of Standish passed away on Thursday, February 3rd at his home.
James was born on May 13th, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Everett and Linda (Knoelinger) Ruse. He worked for Eastman’s gravel pit which later turned to Ruse’s gravel pit from the age of 18 until 67 when he retired. Jim was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his family and having cookouts.
James is survived by his son Richard Scott Ruse, his fiancé Alyssa Quintanilla, her daughter Genevieve Quintanilla and baby James Ruse. His grandson Scott Richard Ruse, his girlfriend Erin Nicole Parker and their daughter Jaycee Michelle Ruse. His sisters Norma Holbrook and Char Struh.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
