Sally Irene Sweeney, age 83, of Hale Michigan passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Sally was born on April 19, 1938 in Saginaw Michigan to Melvin and Lorraine Sutphin.
Preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Sweeney, her parents, three brothers Melvin Jr, Donald and David Sutphin, and two sisters Ann Maples and Linnie Snowden and son-in-law Allen Niederquell.
Sally was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, going to the casino and playing bingo at the American Legion.
Sally is survived by her sons: George Running, David (Theresa) Sweeney; her daughters: Valerie (Kevin) Yaroch, Lisa Niederquell; grandchildren: Adam (Kate) Pruden, Darryll Pruden, Jared Yaroch, Caitlin Yaroch, Tayler (Tanner) Reddo, Joseph T. Sweeney, Chelsea (TJ) Adkison, Melissa Niederquell (Kevin Rehil); great grandchildren: Joshua and Ethan Pruden, Alexander Sweeney, Ezra, Claire, and Rosalie Reddo, Adrianna Adkison, and Johnathan Rehil.
Services to celebrate Sally’s life will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Buresh Funeral Home in Hale. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, funeral at 1:00pm, followed by procession to Esmond Evergreen Cemetery.
