Cynthia Lynn McLain (Oakford), age 65 of Hale, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2022 at her home in Hale.
She was born on February 2, 1956 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late Frank and Patricia (Copen) Oakford. Cynthia had lived in Hale for approximately 15 years, but had been a long time visitor to the Hale area with her family for many decades and it was a favorite vacation spot.
Cynthia loved her family and was a skilled seamstress, often making costumes for the kids and grandkids over the years. She loved watching foreign films and especially enjoyed Monday night professional wrestling on TV.
Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Kellie (Michael) Gerow (Scheall); brother, David (Kathy) Oakford; step daughter Bonnie Hoserland;11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Cynthia is preceded in death by her spouse, Daniel McLain; son, Clifton Scheall III.
