Maurice Clark, 74, of Roscommon

Maurice Lyle Clark, Jr., age 74, of Roscommon, died on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at his home in the presence and comfort of his family.

Maurice was born June 20, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Maurice and Caro (Thompson) Clark, Sr. He married Cheryl Rothgeb in 1974 in Flint.

Maurice served in the United States Army between 1966 and 1968 and was a member of the American Legion. Following his retirement from Pepsi-Cola, he spent his time fishing, going for long drives, and playing fantasy football.

Maurice will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Cheryl; sons Maurice (Crystal) Clark, III and Scott Daniel (Abrah) Clark; many grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; five sisters; and sister-in-law Debbie Maupin; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughters Jenny Clark and Christine Clark; and two sisters.

Maurice’s family has chosen to remember him privately at this time.
