Age 82, of Whittemore, Michigan formerly a resident of Webberville, Michigan, died on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas City, Michigan.
He was born the son of James and Vernie (Bergman) on November 12, 1939 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic.
Robert worked for the Department of Transportation for the State of Michigan and retired after 30 years. He enjoyed spending time outside fishing and especially looked forward to the hunting season.
Robert is survived by his children; Kevin Stanley, Kim (Jason) Gaston and James Stanley, eight grandchildren and ten great – grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ken Stanley.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place and Robert will be laid to rest at the Great Lakes Nation Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
