Betty Ann Hawley, 87, of Grayling

Betty Ann Hawley, 87, of Grayling passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Munson Healthcare-Grayling Hospital.

Betty was born to Cecil and Clois (Barrington) Canfield on December 16, 1933 in Beaver Creek Twp. She married the love of her life Calvin Hawley in 1951. Betty worked for many years at Bear Archery and also delivered Meals on Wheels for several years. She enjoyed sitting down and having the daily gossip and sipping coffee with family friends. She also enjoyed going on camping trips with her husband Calvin. She loved her kids and grandchildren very much. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Betty is survived by her daughters Connie (Ross) Argue, Debbie (Ron) Calkins, Kim Peckat and Billie Jo Miller; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sister Judy (Bob) Cooper. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Calvin L.P. Hawley, daughter Cheryl Labo, granddaughter Angela Labo, son-in-law Jim Miller, sister Kathleen Hawley, and parents Cecil and Clois Canfield.

A Celebration of Betty’s Life will take place in the spring of 2022 with burial at Beaver Creek Twp Cemetery. Condolences can be shared with Betty’s family at www.sorensonlockwood.com.
